Former Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati launched a long tirade of accusations in the Albanian parliament today against his fellow Socialist MPs and Premier Edi Rama’s government.

Bushati accused the government of turning its back to the people during the coronavirus crisis.

“For thirty days the government didn’t have time to serve the citizens”, Bushati said. He reminded the 2013 electoral campaign when the Socialist Party (PS) promised the annulment of the corruptive concessions, but, once winning the elections, it turned its back to the citizens.

“We are a socialist party and as such we are not entitled to take decisions today for 30 years”, Bushati said.
