Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha condemned the armed assault against the national television Top Channel which left one security guard dead. Berisha said it was “an ugly criminal act”.

“Top Channel was attacked with fire weapons and the buildings guard was shot dead in his security cabin”, wrote Berisha.

“I condemn this ugly criminal act and express my heartfelt condolences to the family and relatives of the victim, as well as to the Top Channel staff. I condemn this criminal act as another painful testimony of the total insecurity that exists in this country ever since the public order was left in the criminals’ hands by the regime”.
