Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha hailed as heroes the young men that for days now, in Tirana and other cities, are showing their revolt and indignation against police violence and the murder of the 25-year-old Klodian Rasha.

“Invincible heroes that terrified Edvin the Exectuioner and his barbarians and murderers in police uniforms. Watch how the cowards behave with boy that was protesting peacefully, laid down on the ground. Honour to the brave young man”, Berisha wrote on his Facebook page, where he posted the video of the protesters.

Berisha also posted a message he had received from a citizen that told him who the young man was.

"He is Arjon Kuçuku, an excellent student in the first year of the University of Medicine. He won the first place in the National Chemistry Olympiad. Arjon is a noble and kind man, never violent and doesn’t deserve to be in a police cell. Free Arjon! We must keep the elite in Albania, with this approach we are forcing them to leave”.
