Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha was not allowed last evening to meet the university students in the Students Town, the students residential are in the Albanian capital.

The opposition chief entered in one of the boys dormitories to and was having a conversation in one of the rooms when a receptionist interrupted him and asked him to leave because he was doing a lot of harm to her. She said he should have informed her first about the visit.

Basha asked the lady to calm down, promising to leave the building in a few minutes, adding he understood she was ordered from “above”.

“Calm down, if they fire you, we will fire them”, Basha said.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of Tirana accused Basha of committing violence.
