Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha has slammed Premier Edi Rama after the later filed a lawsuit for defamation against outgoing Kosovo Premier Ramush Haradinaj.

Basha said the lawsuit is an ugly anti-national perversity, a low act that deserves only rejection and legitimate revolt.

“Rama’s pseudo-lawsuit against the Prime Minister of Kosovo is an ugly anti-national perversity. It’s an unswallowable shame that Haradinaj, after the blood his family shed for the liberation of Kosovo, after the legal battles against Belgrade’s mounted accusations, now also faces the consequences of Edi Rama’s degeneration and subordination. This low act that shames us all deserves rejection of and legitimate revolt against a failed Prime Minister and his political and moral failure in front of Albanians and the entire Albanian nations”, Basha said.
