Albanian State police have taken into custody ten citizens, including the Deputy Mayor of Lezha, Alfrida Marku after they blocked the road where Premier Edi Rama’s convoy was passing. The Prime Minister was headed to Puka in north of the country but was forced to take a secondary rout after the protesters blocked the highway
Rama and his entourage stayed put in the highway for nearly an hour before deciding to change their way.
Later, police arrested the citizens, with Ms. Marku among them.
