Albanian President Ilir Meta has excluded any possibility of cooperation with Socialist Premier Edi Rama in the future. Speaking to host Blendi Fevziu on the Opinion TV show on TV Klan, Meta said he will return actively to politics once his presidential term expires next July.

“Alliance with Rama? Never! No more political cooperation with this person”, Meta responded to Fevziu’s question.

“I can hardly wait of leaving the President’s Office. Regarding my energies, I’d like to say I want be active but super active, hyperactive even, in politics. I will never cooperate with the politicians that infringe the Constitution of Albania and question or threaten the people’s sovereignty”, said Meta.
