First victim of the coronavirus has been reported in Albania, confirmed by the Ministry of Health. The victim, a 73-year-old woman died in the hospital of Durrës from serious complications caused by the coronavirus.

The woman had other pathologies and renal failure which made her situation even more desperate and impossible for the doctors to save her.

Albania reported the first two cases of coronavirus on Sunday evening and 12 people have been reported as infected so far, with the woman from Durrës the first victim of the outbreak.
