Albanian high school seniors gathered Saturday morning outside the Ministry of Education in Tirana to protest against the difficulties they encountered in the mathematics maturity exam.

Students said the exam was difficult, non-understandable and unfounded in the schoolbooks. They requested a re-evaluation of their scores or the repeat of the exam.

Students in other cities across the country also rose in peaceful protests against the exam, sitting on the ground.
