Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha commemorated 75 years of the United Nations and 65 years of Albania’s membership, vowing he will do his best as Albania’s future Prime Minister to make possible Kosovo’s membership in the organization.

“Today marks 75 years of the United Nations Organizations which is the biggest and the most important in the world, created to strengthen the cooperation among the countries, the economic development and safeguarding peace in the world”, Basha said.

“Today also marks 65 years of Albania’s acceptance in the United Nations Organization. It is the day to reconfirm our commitment to follow the principles of the UN Charter and support the UN mission of keeping the peace and safety in the world. On the occasion of the 75 years of the United Nations, I’d like to express my wish that the Republic of Kosovo takes soon its place as a full member of the organization. My future government and I will give full support to make this a reality”.
