The Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announced that Montenegro has decided to revise the list of countries from which it will allow entrance into its territory in the framework of fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Based on the number of the positive persons in Albania, which is over 700 currently (above the limit of 25 persons per 100 thousand residents set by the Montenegrin authorities), Montenegro decided to close the land border passing points with Albania. Only persons that will present a certificate proving they have taken the test and resulted negative in the last 48 hours will be allowed to pass in transit through the Montenegrin territory.
