Albanian Premier Edi Rama called for patience concerning the repatriation of Albanian nationals that have remained stuck abroad because of the coronavirus crisis. Rama mentioned Singapore as an example how to make things worse, referring to the repatriation of some 500 students from abroad, who were asked to self-quarantine at home, without locking the whole families.

“We will reopen the roads of the repatriations and we will not back off from the compulsory condition of the quarantine in hotels”, Rama wrote. “I’d like to assure all that the government will make what it can for the repatriation cost to be as soft as possible for any of them within the conditions where we all are living and acting”.
