Albanian Ministry of Health reconfirmed today there is no infected with coronavirus in the country. Eugena Tomini, a member of the task force for COVID-19 said 8 new cases out of a total of 50 were tested in the laboratory and they all resulted negative.
The tested persons had symptoms of the respiratory infections and a traveling history to the countries with a coronavirus outbreak.
More than 18,000 persons have entered the country in the last 24 hours and have been checked for signs of the virus, resulting negative.
In the same period there were 1472 calls of the emergency number 127, out of which 32 were related to viral respiratory infections and had a travelling history to the neighbouring Italy with a high number of persons infected from the virus.
