Albanian Premier Edi Rama wrote another open letter today, this time not addressed to Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha but to the Democratic Party members and supporters, calling on them not to boycott the local elections of June 30, unlike the opposition parties that have decided not to participate.

Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, commented the letter and said the premier will receive a response tomorrow, on June 2, which is the day of the next big opposition rally.

“Rama’s confrontation is not with the Democrats only, it is with the majority of Albanians, from the right and left, who have understood, or even worse, have suffered Edi’s criminal madness. He’ll have his response tomorrow”, Paloka told the Albanian daily Koha Jonë.
