Former Premier Sali Berisha has denounced the fires that have showed up everywhere in Albania in the last 24 hours, saying the arsonists are opening space for the cannabis cultivation.

Berisha writes on his Facebook page the fires were intentionally set with the government’s permission.

Thousands of acres of wood and bushes were burned only on Sunday in the mount of Priska in Tirana while no firefighter appeared at the place.

“Arson to open new land for the cannabis cultivation. Fires have been set off in the whole country like never before. These fires are set intentionally to open new land for hashish in the electoral year. The narco-state is securing narco-Euros to buy out votes”, Berisha writes.
