Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha declared today Premier Edi Rama has neither a plan nor the will to change the situation of the students, adding the Law on the Higher Education is the genesis of all the problems.
Basha spoke immediately after Rama’s press conference where he announced the government will support the students financially provided that they receive the maximal grade on all exams.
The Democrat leader promised that from January the Democratic Party will start consults with teachers and students for a new bill that will end favoring the private universities.
“He has no plan and no will to change the situations of the students. What he said today does not give solutions to the problems that really concern the students”, Basha said.
“The Law on the Higher Education is the genesis of all the problems, because it is an open corruptive process. Today he have the most expensive higher education in Europe and the lowest quality”.
