Speaking in the “Tent of Freedom”, Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha Kreu repeated OSCE Ambassador Bernd Borchardt’s statement that as much as €2 billion dirty money is circulating and may be used in efforts to manipulate the elections.

“We’ll never accept dirty elections”, Basha stated. “It’s time for a national awakening, this is an irreversible decision: no more with elections seized by the crime, only clean and fair elections, which start with Edi Rama’s removal. The country is killing its fear, the citizens are uniting”.

“Las night, OSCE Ambassador Bernd Borchardt launched the call for the cause we are fighting for since three years ago: TWO billion dirty Euros are circulating to buy the elections of the Albanians! We’ll never accept dirty money, dirty government, dirty game and dirty elections”.

“Who is afraid of the independent justice? Who is afraid of independent judges and prosecutors? Are those who have stolen and connected themselves to crime, or is the opposition, which has connected its destiny to that of the Albanian citizens?”

“The Democratic Party will vote and bring forward the Judiciary Reform, but only in compliance with the European definitions of the Constitution of Albania”.
