Albania voted in favour of UN Resolution on Jerusalem, with Premier Edi Rama explaining US Ambassador in Tirana Donald Lu had not asked for a vote against, which would be a vote in favour of US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US Embassy there.

Following many critic voices in Tirana for the vote against Trump and pro Turkish President Erdogan, Rama is making efforts to put the blame on Lu.

People close to the Albanian PM are saying Lu never asked for the vote against the UN Resolution, which could be true, seeing Lu has not been reacting.

However, it is a childish “explanation” by Rama and his men, after the clear request of US Ambassador to the United Nations, as well as Trump’s threat he would take a vote in favour of Jerusalem as a vote against his person.
