Camera-traps set in the woods of Puka, North Albania, from the organization for Protection and Preservation of Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA) have offered some wonderful views of the wildlife.
"We were surprised to see some wonderful pictures of the Balkan Lynx, a critically endangered subspecies”, PPNEA said today. “Images of the Balkan Lynx and other animals, like the brown bear, wolves, foxes, hares and badgers show once again the rich biodiversity in the region of Puka and Mirdita. We are happy to share the first results of the monitoring season of winter-spring 2017”.
