The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered his Christmas greetings to Albanian Christian believers during a press conference. He highlighted the figure of Christ the King and the impact of his teachings on Western civilization and humanity as a whole.

Berisha expressed special gratitude to Christian clergy for their contribution to upholding and elevating spiritual values. He also voiced the hope that future Christmases would be celebrated in freedom, dignity, hope and faith in the future, without the “black cholera” which, according to him, has afflicted the country.

BERISHA’S STATEMENT:

First of all, my warmest wishes to Albanian Christian believers who tonight celebrate the birth of the man-God who, through his morality, teachings and guidance, influenced Western civilization and all of humanity more than anyone else, the birth of Christ the King.

I extend my heartfelt wishes to all Christian clergy, with deep gratitude for their extraordinary contribution to the elevation of divine values.

I wish believers and all Albanians that future Christmases may be celebrated without this black cholera that has afflicted the country.

May they be celebrated in freedom, dignity, hope and faith in the future.
