Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha and Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta met today to discuss for the cooperation between the two biggest opposition parties and for the upcoming local elections. The Democratic Party said in a press release that both leaders talked and agreed on “the cooperation, coordination, the alliance of the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party in the local elections, parliament initiatives, and popular protests against Edi Rama’s regime”.
The press release said Secretary General of the Democratic Party Flamur Noka and head of the Freedom Party parliamentary group Petrit Vasili were also present in the meeting that took place at the Democratic Party headquarters in Tirana.
