Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta met President Bajram Begaj today to talk about setting a date for the new local elections. After leaving the President’s Office, Meta told media reporters he had a positive meeting with his successor and highlighted the importance of setting as soon as possible the date of the local elections.

“It was a pleasure to meet the President of the Republic at his request to talk about the future local elections. My position was clear: to set a date as soon as possible respecting the constitutional amd legal deadlines and I believe it will happen like that. The Albanian citizens must be rescued as soon as possible from the monist local elections and the scandalous abuse with their taxes”, said Meta.
