Albanian President Bajram Begaj met today his predecessor Ilir Meta, now Chairman of the Freedom Party, to talk about setting a date for the upcoming local elections.

It is understood President Bega will receive the heads of the parliamentary groups to talk about the issue.

Earlier, Meta met with Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha in the latter’s office, whereas President Begaj met Premier Edi Rama on Monday for the same topic.
