Kosovo’s Premier-elect and leader of Vetëvendosje Albin Kurti visited Lezha today on the occasion of the 577^th anniversary of the Covenant of Lezha, which took place in 1444.

"We must follow the torch that has been passed throughout history from generation to generation so that the Albanian people, wherever they are, are factorized to produce their best and most committed representatives to substitute the multiple crises that has plagued us with liberation, with unity, with all-round development and progress. Today, before the National Flag and at the Covenant of Lezha, we bow with reverence and pledge eternal commitment to our National Hero Scanderbeg and to all Albanian warriors of all the époques of our nation”.
