Kosovo Premier Avdullah Hoti said in a meeting with the US State Secretary Mike Pompeo that his country is willing to continue the dialogue with Serbia and ready for a mutual recognition. Pompeo congratulated Hoti for the agreement with Serbia in the White House.
Premier Hoti wrote “Pompeo congratulated me for reaching the agreement and the normalization of the economic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, which was signed at the White House in the presence of US President Donald Trump”, Hoti wrote.
“I thanked the United States for the support to Kosovo… and expressed Kosovo’s readiness to continue the dialogue with Serbia which would lead to mutual recognition between the two countries”.
Hoti added Pompeo assured him of the US readiness to support Kosovo in the process of the full normalization of the relationships with Serbia.
