The Court of Tirana has released today the former Democrat MP Klevis Balliu who was arrested three days ago for joining the residents of Astir area that were confronted with Premier Edi Rama’s escort in Tirana capital.

The court also released three other persons that were taken into custody by police.

Balliu, who said his arrest was politically motivated, accused the police of being violent and said they did not allow him to go to the hospital per Rama’s order.
