Thousands of Albanian Muslims offered their Eid-al-Fitr prayers in the early morning today at Sheshi Skënderbej, the Skanderbeg square, in the capital Tirana as well as in other cities of the country.

The Albanian Muslim Community said the program of Fitr started in the early hours of the morning and continued with singing Surahs from the Quran.

The prayers were held again at Tirana’s main square because the construction of the new Mosque of Tirana isn’t finished yet.
