Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha commented his return to active politics calling it nothing short of spectacular. Berisha was speaking at the presentation of “The Report on the May 14 elections”, where he said “500,000 idealists were not defeated by the state machine of votes violation”.

“We will make a complete analysis. Concerning my return, I would say it was a very successful return. Without the seal, without a name, without a penny, with all the gigantism of votes’ violation, 500,000 idealists were not defeated. This is an engine that will topple Edi Rama”.
