The US Department of State has posted some facts on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations with Albania.

The material noted how US President Woodrow Wilson first was an advocate of the independent Albania, then in 1922 the diplomatic relations were established.

The diplomatic relations were interrupted in 1945 after communism was established in Albania and were re-established in 1991, after the collapse of the dictatorship.

However, according to the material of the Department of State it looks like everything restarted after Edi Rama’s rise to power in 2013.

The document says nothing about who re-established the diplomatic relations, who was the first Albanian President ever received in the white House, and strangely enough it does not say which US President paid the first visit ever to Albania in 2007, marking the culmination of the relations between the two nations.

Under the DOS “censorship” have fallen mainly Presidents George Bush and George W. Bush.

US journalist Matt Palumbo, who has written several times about the unjust designation of Sali Berisha as non grata by the Department of State, has repeated Berisha is a close ally of the Bushes.

According to him, the decision was made due to close links of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to the US progressive billionaire George Soros.
