Albanian President Ilir Meta has spoken for the first time about the intercepted conversation of Italian mobsters, where the names of an Albanian minister and Mayor of Tirana have been mentioned. Meta said that everything that has to do with Albania in this investigative file should be followed by local institutions.
“The problem of money laundering is known by all and confirmed by many international institutions which evaluate or categorize countries in this regard and all issues that refer to the latest development in Italy for everything that has to do with Albania should be followed by our institutions”
