The Democratic Party (PD) responded to Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s declarations that entire neighborhoods have been reconstructed after the devastating earthquake of November 26 last year.

Nearly a year later, PD says Edi Rama’s government has constructed only 48 houses out of 3889 that were destroyed or damaged from the earthquake.

The chief of cabinet in PD, Dorian Teliti, said Rama is trying to hide the truth behind his 3D videos.

“Fact: One year after the earthquake, Edi Rama has constructed 48 houses out of 3389 damaged, equal with 1.4% of the total. In Thumana, the most damaged area, Edi Rama has not constructed any house or public building. The most significant index of the failure is Edi Rama’s decision in September for cutting in half the funding in the budget for the reconstruction”.
