Albanian President Ilir Meta admitted keeping masks is a necessity in the fight against the coronavirus, but called the government’s decision to impose keeping masks outdoors and punish offenders a masquerade.
Speaking to media reporters in his weekly meeting with the press, Meta spoke for a range issues, with the Electoral Code dispute among them.
“In case of requests by any political subject, I will address to the Venice Commission about the Electoral Code”, the President said.
“(The package) will be returned to the parliament. It will be a reasoned return, within the constitutional terms”.
