Democratic Party (PD) chairman Lulzim Basha has accepted the invitation of President Ilir Meta for an urgent meeting concerning the current situation in Albania.

Meta addressed a letter to Basha last Saturday, inviting him and the chairpersons of the other oppistion parties that boycotted the parliament in February, relinquishing their mandates.

Basha confirmed today he has accepted the invitation and will meet Meta tomorrow at 09:00.

Basha’s allies will also be present at the President’s Office to talk about the necessary steps for the solution to the crisis.
