The Republican Party (PR) has condemned the attacks ordered by Premier Edi Rama against Syri.net and Syri TV as attacks against the free speech.

Republican chairman Fatmir Mediu said Rama is making efforts to shut the freedom of speech.

“The Republican Party condemns strongly Rama’s actions to shut the mouth of the free media. The pressure on Syri.net is a Goebbels-like pressure deign for corrupt and Nazi regimes”, Mediu said.

“The Albanian citizens and international partners must condemn Rama’s attacks”.
