Criminality and murders have become an ordinary phenomenon in Albania while the authorities have not been able to find the authors of any of the recent incidents. A few months back, last November, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a rather interesting approach to the criminality situation in the country. Invited on the Repolitix show on Report TV, Rama not only did not assume any responsibility but went as far as begging the criminals to kill among them.

“For these guys that eat each other heads, let me tell you, I feel nothing but a big relief and I say ‘may you eat each other’s heads. I am relieved… Let them each other, they are begged to do this”, Rama said.

Only in Shkodër, north of the country, there are 11 murders and two disappeared persons in the last eight month, without forget Vlora where burning cars and blowing off businesses occur every day, while Elbasan continues to be in the criminality’s hands.
