Former Premier of Albania Sali Berisha blamed his successor Edi Rama for the lack of serious foreign investments in the country. Berisha highlighted that not only no serious investor has come during the five years of Rama’s government, but also many left Albania.
The Democrat leader said the galloping corruption and criminality links to highest levels of government were among the main reasons for the current business climate.
Berisha mentioned Omnix, by saying that “the torturing of tourism investor Omnix, which would invest €1.5 billion, by the gang Rama-Gjushi (Durrës Mayor Vangjush Dako) shocked deeply every foreign investor in Albania”.
