Disturbing: Rama's Police Terrify Young Children During Peaceful Protest

Hundreds of citizens gathered outside the Albanian Parliament early this morning for the 58th protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama's government.

Protesters surrounded the parliamentary premises in opposition to the government's policies, calling for political change and the restoration of institutions to serve the public.

Families with young children also took part in the demonstration. A video obtained by SYRI TV captures tense moments between police officers and peaceful protesters, showing young children visibly frightened by the unfolding situation.

According to the footage, a mother, accompanied by her husband and their three young children, was stopped by State Police officers while attempting to continue on her way. The children appeared emotionally distressed, breaking into tears and screams as police prevented them from passing, leading to a confrontation between officers and the family.

The protest is continuing in the streets of the capital, with a heavy police presence deployed around Parliament. The situation remains tense as demonstrators continue to voice their opposition to the government and demand the unconditional resignation of Edi Rama.
