Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said today Prime Minister Edi Rama has put in his pocket 40 million Euros with the waste incinerator of Fier and 28 million with that of Elbasan.

“In his last public appearance, Edi Rama proved to Albanians that he is the author number one of the thefts of the century, with the waste incinerators and with health PPPs”, said Berisha.

“He showed up on Saturday for the most serious crimes of incineration and sterilization, sequestered as criminal acts, minimizing the ugly crimes that happened to them simply as shortcomings in construction”.

“Specifically, he said: Things have happened, there have been shortcomings and necessities. With shortcomings and necessities, Edi Rama tries to close the theft and the ugly crime with the Elbasan incinerator, with which 28 million Euros were stolen from the citizens by the garbage clan, led by Rama himself, and now there is a non-functioning mess left, which was clearly proven by the burning of the garbage mountain in Elbasan, on the very day when Rama said that it exists”.

“Edi Rama declared the ugly crime and the theft of 40 million Euros with the Fier incinerator as a deficiency and necessity, which according to official documents, in the spring of 2021, as notified by the company's owner Zoto in a letter, had finished constructing”.

“The same deception of the public was done by the Socialist MPs that visited Fier and said the incinerator was working”.

“In fact, Rama's shortcomings are heinous crimes. The incinerator was declared operational in the spring of 2021 and to this day it does not work, a whole mountain of garbage has been raised around it, which Rama tried to burn on Saturday, just like that in Elbasan”.
