Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has appealed to Albanian citizens and students of Tirana’s middle schools to join the protest of the students of the state university of medicine. Students will rally again tomorrow outside the parliament to protest against Edi Rama’s government decision to hold their diplomas for five years after the graduation date to prevent them from working abroad. Many physicians and nurses leave Albania every year to work abroad, especially in Germany, creating problems for the medical system in the country.

The medicine students appealed to students of other schools and also to the students of middle schools and citizens to join them.

Berisha shared their message in his Facebook page.

“The medicine students will protest tomorrow outside the parliament against Edi Rama’s anti-student law. I appeal to all students, middle schools pupils and citizens to support their just cause”, wrote Berisha.
