The Democratic Party presented today a dossier of the manipulation of local elections in the municipalities of Vora, Kamza, Rrogozhina, and Kavaja. Democrat MP Deputy Edi Paloka said that the voluminous dossier exposes the electoral farce of May 14.

He added Albania will not have free and fair elections as long as Prime Minister Edi Rama stays in power.

“The Democratic Party has a voluminous file with the facts of the election farce that happened on May 14. It has been many years now that Edi Rama find was to manipulate the elections ever since he rose to power. Since then, there have been no free elections, it seems that the system established by him aims for the same thing, as long as he is in power, there will be no elections”, said Paloka.

“It is our obligation to make it clear to citizens and international partners that as long as Rama is in power, Albanians will not vote freely. We will present the file, which shows all the forms that Rama used to get the votes from those who refused to sell or buy it. The file is voluminous, there are dozens of other facts, which were obtained by us, but they are not the only ones. These facts have been sent for criminal prosecution, since election crimes are criminal crimes, but the results are zero, since all the institutions are caught”.
