Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said today Albanian Premier Edi Rama risks to be impeached by the United States justice and sit on the same bench with the former FBI senior official Charles McGonigal.

“A merge of the two cases against McGonigal was requested and approved. It's called Global Resolution, which means that Edi Rama's criminal offense can pass without any difficulty from the bribery and corruption of the highest counterintelligence official on duty to the Russian connection”, said Berisha.

“This is terrible news for Rama. The trial will begin in October and everything will be revealed. Edi Rama will sit next to McGonigal to testify about his dark connections”.
