Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha posted a video-message to his followers from a meeting with the opposition elected mayors and mayoral candidates of the May 14 mayoral elections.

“This people have democratic ideals. This people do not accept monism”, said Berisha.

“The situation is desperate and we cannot deny it, but people with political fiber understand that in every circumstance there is only one way out: Never give and rise! In every circumstance there is only one way out: Rise and defend your nation from a destruction process that no other nation has ever experienced. No other nation has lost in eight years 33% of its population, and it all happens with the mechanism of the destruction of the opposition, because by destroying the opposition one kills massively the hope”.
