Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha reacted after reports that SHISH (Albanian State Intelligence Service) Director Vlora Hyseni has made a secret visit to the Serbian capital Belgrade. Before her appointment as SHISH Director, Syri reported that in Kosovo Hyseni has been accused of links to Serbia.

“The media informed that Vlora Hyseni, Director of Albania’s State Intelligence Service, started her job with a secret visit to Belgrade, a report that hasn’t been denied so far”, wrote Berisha.

“Her visit to Belgrade, considering its timing as well as the background of her dismissal from Kosovo authorities, proves that she was appointed in the post as a confidential connecting bridge between Edi Rama and his Serbian brother Vučić to coordinate their activities against Kosovo but not only”.

“In this context, such a visit at the peak of the crisis in the Kosovo-Serbia relations speaks a lot for a coordination of Rama’s efforts with those of his master against Kosovo, in which the latter is very much interested due to the serious internal political crisis in Belgrade”.

Berisha also expressed his concern that Hyseni’s visit to Belgrade, considering she runs the intelligence service of a NATO member state, “is a bad omen for all NATO’s classified information that, via the confidante Hyseni may end in the hands of Rama’s master, the Little Putin, and from him to the hands of the real Putin”.

“This visit is a heavy blow to our cooperation with the friendly intelligence services of the region that now will not be willing to exchange sensitive information with the Albanian service, knowing that Rama’s confidante may pass it to Belgrade”.

The former Prime Minister condemned the visit as a serious threat to the security of Kosovo, Albania, region and NATO, also appealing for Hyseni’s immediate dismissal.
