Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said in a press conference today that the tour he just finished in the southern municipalities of the country was the most successful in the south in his political career.

“Last night I concluded my tour in the southern municipalities and I may say it was the most successful tour I ever had in the south of the country”, Berisha told media reporters.

“Citizens in Tepelenë, Memaliaj, Këlcyrë, Përmet, Sarandë, Konispol, Delvinë, Libohovë, Derviçan, Dropull are looking forward to May 14 (mayoral elections) to sign the change, to sign the salvation of their municipalities and of Albania from the dark claws of the governmental mafia”.

“Everywhere I went I found indignant citizens that could not hide their hate for the government of mafia. I found strong reactions against the loot of public assets of the residents of these municipalities”.
