Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta said today the Municipality of Tirana has prioritized money laundering under incumbent Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Focusing on funding a solution to the issue of social housing, Meta wrote on his Facebook page that the Freedom Party proposes an increase up to €150 million of the national fund for social housing from the current €7 million, and up to €33 million for social housing for Tirana from the current €0.7 million.

“The Municipality of Tirana prioritizes money laundering, while we want to solve the issue of social housing”, wrote the former President of Albania.

“For this reason, yesterday at the table of Social Policies for Housing, the Freedom Party made public its concrete proposals.

Our proposals mean housing solutions for young families, for single mothers, for people with disabilities, for the needy, for the elderly, young people and students”.
