Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha urged Tirana’s Mayor Erion Veliaj to explain his links to the Revolutionary Guard of Iran. The former Prime Minister accused Veliaj last month of having links to Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, a former commander of the Revolutionary Guards Air Force.
“Erion Veliaj failed to give an answer to the exposure of his links to Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, his partner and a former commander of the terrorist Revolutionary Guard of Iran”, said Berisha.
“One of the partners of the company Integrated Energy brought proof that Bruno Preseci is a partner of the former commander of Pasdaran and they are recycling money through the waste incinerator of Tirana. We are dealing with a dangerous mobster species in every aspect. I’m appealing to Erion Veliaj to explain his links to Bruno Preseci, Miliad Lopa, and Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi. This is a team of thieves, mobsters, a conglomerate of the regional and international mafia that is running on May 14 (mayoral elections), but they will go where they deserve to go”.
