Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha condemned today the delay of the Albanian parliament to pass the Resolution on the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica. The Resolution was passed after it was rejected a few weeks ago by the Socialist majority only because it was proposed by the opposition and former Premier Berisha.

However, Berisha said the Resolution does not mention the architects of the genocide, Slobodan Milosevic and current Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. He also added the text of the Resolution speaks about murders in Kosovo, not for Serbian genocide.

“When you speak about murders in Kosovo, why don’t you speak about genocide in Kosovo? What is this capitulation? What is this subordination?”, Berisha addressed to the Socialist majority in the parliament today.

“You were not able even to paraphrase the Resolution of the European Parliament. Why has your leader turned into a town crier and vassal of Aleksandar Vučić? Is it because of the Open Balkans. It is a project of crime, Serbian hegemony, and Russian influence”, said Berisha.
