Albanian Premier Edi Rama tried arrogantly today to hide behind words the most serious attack against justice in the country. Speaking to media reporters in a press conference, the Albanian Premier said no one can give him lessons in any language because he has realized the biggest justice reform in Albania’s history.

Earlier this week Rama repeated his calls to the Special Structure against Corruption (SPAK) to investigate President Ilir Meta and former President and Premier Sali Berisha, but in no moment did he ask for the investigation of his corrupt government.

A bullish Rama responded to criticism from the international partners saying “no one can lecture me about interventions in justice, neither in Albanian, nor in English or French”.

To anyone saying that the justice reform in Albania was done by the international, Rama responded that he was the only author. Paradoxically, he said he has done the biggest justice reform in Albania’s while venting against the same reformed justice, saying it has caught only small fish with dynamite.

“I led the biggest reform in Albania’s history, the justice reform. We did it, with the unstinting support of the United States. If we did not want it and had I been not at the same wavelength with the other leaders of the Albanian politics you should forget it could have happened. No one could force us to do”, Rama said.
