Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha ironized Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka saying she had made her husband a very happy man.
Berisha was referring to the arguably unique act of Edi Rama’s government which gave minister Xhaçka’s husband the status of the strategic investor and gifting him seafront land in the Albanian Riviera for the construction of a touristic resort.
The scandal found no space in the media but was denounced by Berisha.
“All you ladies in the room have husbands, but only one of you has a super-husband, and the one that has a super-husband – I’d also say a strategic husband – is Olta Xhaçka which has made him a very happy man with properties in Dhërmi (village in the Riviera) and other areas, taking him to the strategic investor level”, Berisha said in the parliament today.
