Albanian President Ilir Meta’s spokesman Tedi Blushi responded to Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj’s insults against the Head of State on the day of the ruling Socialist Party.

"If Ilir Meta wastes his time behind counters, half drunk, declaring war to America, we need someone that can heal these wounds and we can behave like a serious state”, Veliaj said.

Blushi responded by calling Veliajn a “thug of the criminal organization of the waste incinerators”, also announcing about a press conference of President Meta.

"The criminal organization of the waste incinerators, through an evildoer of the public interests that is used as an attack dog by the brigadier of the organization, attacked today the figure of the President of the Republic with slanders worthy of a thug.

All honest and patriot Albanians know the reasons why the criminal organization of the waste incinerators and of all the criminalization of the state and society hates President Meta as an unwavering denouncer based on public and transparent facts not only of the waste incinerators macabre affair, but also of many other corrupt concessions”, wrote Meta’s spokesman Blushi.
